Objectives

How to use the Material?

  • Syllabus is an overview of topics to be covered in a course. Amongst other areas it gives a specific information of the learning outcomes, teaching, assessment and examination policies and strategies set by the institution running the course.

  • Module specific Teaching Plan and Schedules includes the learning contents designed to meet the course and module specific learning outcomes and objectives by developing the students' understanding of not only the subject but also the way it integrates into the 'big picture' of international business and management.

    The teaching plan can be customised according to the user institution's objectives, strategies, schedules and practices.

  • Workshops are intended for teacher led discussion topics, tutorials, seminars or block delivery of the topic and for students' self directed study or revision. Combined with the topic related readings in the teaching plans, workshops offer alternative concepts or other points of view thus deepening students' overall understanding of the issues discussed.

  • Recommended Texts may be selected and often substituted by the teacher, depending on local availability of relevant text books and other readings.

  • Learner Support material is offered to students to be used freely as a 'dip-in resource' for problem solving, guidance, support or future planning purposes according to user's own needs or interests.
